Barbra Streisand Believes Michael Jackson's Accusers But…
Why oh why couldn’t Barbra Streisand just stick to fun out of touch crazy rich lady stuff like cloning her dog twice over or having an entire shopping mall under her living room floor? Why’d she have to go and add her out of touch crazy rich lady stuff to the conversation about Michael Jackson’s alleged pedophilia? Babs was interviewed by The Times and revealed that while she absolutely believes Michael’s Leaving Neverland accusers, James Safechuck and Wade Robson, are telling the truth, she also wonders what’s the big deal since they’re both married and have children now. What’s more, she mostly blames their parents, not Michael, for what happened to them. Oh how I wish we could just go back to the way we were before she opened her mouth.
According to The Times, Babs said that she “absolutely” believes Wade and James were assaulted by the “very sweet, very childlike” Michael, but they wanted to be there so… Babs said (via The Independent):
“His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has. You can say ‘molested’, but those children, as you heard say (the grown-up Robson and Safechuck), they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.”
Sorry fellows, Babs has spoken. Time to suck it up! By her logic, if Barbra invited me to shop in her indoor mall, and while I was pursuing the wares at Berets N’ Things, she sidled up next to me and shanked me with a hat pin, it would be all my fault. I mean, Barbra seems harmless enough, but I guess it’s buyer beware in Dolly’s Dollhouse Of Horrors. Babs’ has murderous needs, can’t be helped. Besides, where were my parents? Well, they were probably in Yentl’s Ole Timey Sweet Shop giving themselves tummy aches and cavities.
Asked if she was angry with Jackson, she said: “It’s a combination of feelings. I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shoes and the dancing and the hats?”
Barbra probably just doesn’t get it because the people dressed like her, in her shoes, dancing in her hats, are all grown ass men. I think for everyone’s sanity, moving forward, lets not ask our beloved eccentric icons to opine on the lives of our disgraced eccentric icons. It’s crazy making.
