Prodigy’s Keith Flint’s fortune ‘ravaged by £7.3m tax debt’ after tragic death

Keith Flint 's £11.6 million fortune is said to have been ravaged by debts and taxes after his tragic death.

The Prodigy frontman took his own life in March, at the age of 49, and since then, it's reported that his estate has plummeted by a whopping £7.3m.

Official figures show Keith's fortune was left standing at £4.3m after his affairs were fully settled, The Sun reports.

Keith had put him £1.5m Essex mansion up for sale just days before his tragic passing, and his pub firm, De Bohun Inns Limited, had debts of more than £500,000, the newspaper says.

The star had earned £1.5m from his band in the last two years, but figures from the Probate Office have laid the scale of the strain on his finances bare.

Keith admitted in 2015 that he wasn't saving any of his money.

He told FHM: "I’m not saving for anything. I’m cashing it all now.

"I’ve always had this thing inside me that, when I’m done, I’ll kill myself."

Keith was found dead at his home on March 4.

A post mortem examination found the cause of his death to be hanging. Cocaine, alcohol, and codeine were found in his system.

Keith's ex Gail Porter told recently how she was still mourning his death.

The singer dated Gail for a year after being introduced by DJ Sara Cox in 1999.

Following his death, Gail told her fans she was "heartbroken".

Speaking this week, she admits 2019 has been a "tricky year" but insists you have to remember the "good times".
