Sir Bruce Forsyth’s widow Lady Wilnelia, 62, cuts a glamorous figure as she enjoys a rare outing with son Jonathan, 32, at swanky charity ball

Lady Wilnelia Forsyth has enjoyed a rare public outing with her son Jonathan. 

The mother, 62, and son, 32, pair cut a glamorous figure as they attended the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday night. 

The former Miss. World – who shared her only child Jonathan with Sir Bruce Forsyth until he passed away in 2017 – wowed in a dazzling cream coloured gown complete with a faux-fur shrug.

Wilnelia added to her look with a sensational blow-dry, drop pearl earrings and a sultry coat of make-up. 

She boosted her height in a pair of towering silver heels and toted her belongings in a chic clutch. 

Jonathan also made for quite the dapper display in a slick black suit complete with a crisp white shirt and bow-tie. 

He is the only son of Sir Bruce and Puerto Rican former actress Wilnelia – who were married for 34 years after they met as judges of the 1980 Miss World contest in the UK.

In an interview with Hello! last year, Wilnelia admitted she was so consumed by grief following the passing of Bruce that some days she ‘feels 100 years old’. 

She explained: ‘He really was my soulmate and will always be in my heart.

‘It is not easy but Bruce wanted me to stay strong. I think grieving is a journey and I will get there.

‘Sometimes I’m so sad about Bruce I feel like I’m 100. And then on other days I feel great.’

In July, it was revealed Wilnelia was set to inherit another £5.4million from her late husband – on top of the £11.5million he bequeathed her in his will.

She also put Bruce Forsyth Enterprises Ltd – the late entertainer’s company – into liquidation.

It had some £5,387,592 in its coffers, topping up the £11,718,242 which went to Lady Wilnelia.

Wilnelia was made secretary of the company in 1995 – taking over the role from Sir Bruce’s sister – and owns 75 per cent of shares in it.

When Sir Bruce died aged 89 in 2017, he left the entirety of his estate to his wife, leaving nothing to his son and five daughters in a bid to trump the taxman.

In a showbiz career spanning more than 75 years, he rose to become Britain’s highest-paid TV star.
