Strictly Come Dancing stars look worse for wear on boozy night out in Blackpool
Strictly Come Dancing contestants dazzled on last night’s show – set in the Blackpool Tower ballroom – with Ashley Roberts even getting a hallowed ’10’.
But it looks like the celebrations for the show continued long into the night, as several members of the BBC show were looking rather worse for wear later on in the evening.
Natalie Lowe left the afterparty first and an onlooker saw her barefoot with her shoes in each hand. Oh love, we’ve all been there.
Bleary-eyed Stacey Dooley looked like she was crying out for her bed as she made her way to the hotel, but Shirley Ballas was all smiles.
Things were obviously heating up for Dr Ranj, as he unbuttoned his shirt to Simon Cowell-levels of chest flashing, while Neil Jones looked a little dazed and confused.
Kate Silverton and Aljaz Skorjanec looked like a tight pair throughout the night, as they headed ever closer to the finals of the dance show next month.
Meanwhile, viewers are claiming last night’s show was ‘fixed’ after Ashley Roberts received a perfect score.
The Pussycat Dolls singer and her partner Pasha Kovalev received a score of 40 for their jive to Shake Ya Tail Feather by The Blues Brothers.
The pair were stunned when Craig Revel Horwood proved that he does actually own a 10 paddle.
Some Strictly fans claimed it was ‘set up’ for Ashley, who has dancing experience from her singing days, to end the Blackpool extravaganza with a bang.
There were 10s flying everywhere in the Tower Ballroom as four couples received the top mark.
Ashley closed the show with her sensational jive, with Bruno claiming: "There are some performances that become part of Strictly history – you did just that."
He then collapsed on the desk after jumping up to deliver his score.
Furious Strictly fans took to Twitter after Ashley received her scores.
One angry viewer said: "Professional dancer does a good jive in Blackpool here comes the 40 #fix"
"I, for one, am shocked SHOCKED one of the professional celebrity dancers scored a 40 – the first 40 – in Blackpool week. I totally did not say right at the start "best Ashley goes last, bet she gets a 40." It’s almost like this show is a fix," added another.
A third pointed out: "@bbcstrictly is a big fix. Just so happens that Ashley is on last at Blackpool and she gets 40?"
