Backstreet Boys fans go crazy as they sing classic hit 'I want it that way' a capella and reveal they're taking their babies on tour

During an interview with showbiz reporter Richard Arnold, the legendary US boyband broke into song.

Richard had revealed that onlookers in the studio gallery had requested their iconic hit.

He said: "They want a rendition. I told you all the fans were here in the building."

AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell then sang the tune on the spot.

During the segment they also revealed that their families – and babies – would be coming on their tour bus as they perform around Europe.

Those watching at home were over the moon by the impromptu performance.

One wrote: "Good start to the day!"

Another commented: "Backstreet boys singing I want it that way on GMB. Friday = Made."

A third shared: "@backstreetboys on @GMB are awesome! I feel like a teen again! #backstreetsback."

It comes after the Backstreet Boys released their first single in five years in May.

Don't Go Breaking My Heart was released in the early hours of May 17 and was directed by Backstreet's longtime collaborators Rich & Tone.

It's been described as a "slice of chilled electro-pop and bears no similarity to Elton John and Kiki Dee's hit of the same name".

Bandmate Kevin Richardson said: “The minute we heard this song we knew it was special.

"I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON. Great verse, hook and melodies.

"Just makes you wanna listen over and over again.”

To support the single Backstreet Boys will hit the road for a number of summer dates in the US.
