Love Island fans appalled as Yewande says kissing Michael is like ‘kissing brother’

During tonight’s Love Island, the islanders had to play a game called “The Good, The Bad and The Sexy”.

It involved the male islanders stripping off for the females before kissing them.

Yewande Biala and Michael Griffiths finally got some screentime, which will have thrilled fans who were missing Yewande.

But her comments about kissing Michael left them gobsmacked.

“Yewande is getting no screen time. ‘It’s like kissing my brother in a good way.’ Ah that’s why”

The Irish beauty said that kissing Michael was “like kissing her brother – but in a good way”.

Viewers rushed to Twitter, shocked by what Yewande said.

One tweeted: “Yewande: ‘It’s like kissing my brother but in a good way,’ Sis I don’t know what’s going on back at yeard but… okay.”

Another said: “Yewande is getting no screen time. ‘It’s like kissing my brother in a good way.’ Ah that’s why.”

A third wrote: “It’s like kissing your brother but in a good way… eg what? Yewande hen there is nothing okay about that.”

A fourth quipped: “We all happy for Yewande and that like she finally got her moment but she ruined it by saying it’s like kissing her brother.”

Another commented: “Having no screen time is getting to Yewande. How can she say ‘it’s like kissing your brother’?”

And someone else added: “That whole Yewande brother comment really rubbed me the wrong way but I still stan.”

Later in the episode, it was time for the first full recoupling of the series.

Yewande and Michael knew they weren’t necessarily in a romantic coupling, leaving their future in doubt.

But the scientist decided to stick with Michael to give him a chance to meet someone later on.

Meanwhile, Callum was dropped from the villa after nobody picked him.

Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
