Who is Adam Fogerty who has joined the cast of Coronation Street?
Adam Fogerty is a British actor, but he used to be both a boxer and a professional rugby player. Impressive CV, right?
Adam is best known for his role as unlicensensed boxer Gorgeous George in the Guy Ricthie movie Snatch, while also starred Brad Pitt.
He’s also been in other movies like Mean Machine alongside Vinnie Jones and Brassed off with Ewan McGregor.
And it’s not just the big screen where you might have spotted Adam’s face – he’s appeared in loads of telly shows too.
He’s actually already been in Corrie back in 1995 when he played a hitman and then starred as Johnny Bishop in Hollyoaks in 2009, and he then returned to the soap in 2017 for two episodes in another role.
Adam’s also had roles in Casualty, Emmerdale, Queer as Folk and The Royal.
Who will Adam play in Coronation Street?
Adam will play the role of a police officer in Coronation Street and has already filmed some scenes.
A source told The Daily Star Sunday: “Adam has fitted in already. And because characters are always in and out of prison, it’s likely we’ll be seeing a fair amount of him on the show."
The TV insider added: “Corrie’s producers are thrilled to have such an experienced actor joining the team. He has the perfect back catalogue to play a prison officer."
