Who is new Ellis Aaron Anthony in Emmerdale after he takes over from Asan N'Jie?

Following Asan N’Jie’s departure from Emmerdale, actor Aaron Anthony has taken over the role of Ellis Chapman.

Asan was sacked from the soap back in September after an altercation with Hollyoaks’ Jamie Lomas at the TV Choice Awards.

Ellis’ subsequent exit from Emmerdale has been put down to him leaving to stay with mum Jessie (Sandra Marvin) in Dubai, following her split from Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and fans previously assumed that we’d seen the last of him.

However Ellis will be returning, with Aaron Anthony already filming scenes for the soap.
