10 Dublin

This town was known as Amador until 1982, when it was renamed Dublin, to pay homage to the many Irish citizens who live there. With about 65,000 residents, Dublin is a sleepy, residential town in the county of Alameda, not far from San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose. With an average household income of $128, 403, Dublin was listed as the #7 ‘Best Place To Live‘ in a 2018 edition of Money Magazine. Dublin is the headquarters for several large retailers and technology companies, including Ross Stores and Sybase, Inc. 

9 Palos Verdes Estates

Along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean lies a picturesque, suburban town called Palos Verdes Estates. Nestled in the Los Angeles County, Palos Verdes Estates has a modest population of 13,408 residents, who enjoy an average household income of $200,766.  The town is home to the Lunada Bay Boys, a surf gang who populate the Lunada Bay public beach. As one of the most notorious surf gangs in California, the Bay Boys had humble beginnings in the 1960s. 8 Piedmont

Piedmont is a residential suburb of Oakland which gets its name from the Piedmont region in Northern Italy. With a population of about 11,500 residents. 7 San Ramon
