All the Juicy Details on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Tell-All Oprah Interview

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are about to break their silence on…literally everything. The royal couple are sitting down for a tell-all interview with Oprah aptly called Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special, and it’s going down on March 7. So yeah, go ahead and mark your calendars because this clearly takes precedence over other important things like, IDK, staring woefully out the window and wondering whether or not to buy a Peloton. (Just me? Cool-cool-cool.)

If you’re wondering how Oprah scored this major interview, it probably has something to do with the fact that Oprah is legit good friends with both Meghan and Harry aka the Sussexes. Not only was she a guest at their wedding, but she’s currently their literal neighbor in Los Angeles, so who better to host a candid 90-minute chat? Exactly.

Meghan and Harry are expected to get into some pretty personal topics with Oprah, but because je suis une sleuth, I have a relatively solid idea of exactly what they’ll talk about (public scrutiny! their relationship with the Queen! marriage!) so get comfortable and let’s review all the juicy details.

Erm, What’s Even Up for Discussion?

EV-ER-Y-THING. The interview will start off with a chat between Meghan and Oprah, which (per CBS) will cover “everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.”

Then, Prince Harry will join the interview to speak with Oprah and Meghan about “their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

What’s unclear is whether or not Meghan will open up about her estranged relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, or whether she and Harry will speak about the rumored (and oh-so tired) “royal feud” with Kate Middleton and Prince William aka the Cambridges.

Awkward, But What Does the Royal Family Think?

Sooooo, apparently they’re pretty nervous. The Mirror reports that the Palace was “blindsided” by the news of Oprah’s sit-down with the Sussexes, and a source said there is “a great deal of nervousness” and that “everyone will be watching with intense interest.”

But before anyone assumes that Meghan and Harry somehow went behind the royal family’s back, there is literally nothing that suggests they have to run interviews about their personal lives by the palace for approval. As a source tells Entertainment Tonight:

I’m In: How Do I Watch?
