Proud parents: On Wednesday the High School Musical actress shared the good news that the couple had welcomed the baby the day before. ‘Jupiter Iris French arrived earth side 3.23.21,’ said the 35-year-old star on Instagram as she posted a photo of the baby’s hand in hers; seen in 2019

Ashley announced her pregnancy in September 2020 and revealed the gender the following month. The couple wed in September 2014 after dating for less than two years.

On Monday she shared a look at her pregnant belly. Ashley stretched her legs to the side and leaned back to offer a good look at her bump.

The star tossed her blonde tresses over one shoulder and made a sassy face as she looked off to the side. ‘Any day now…..’ the singer/actress captioned the post.

The former Disney Channel star got candid about the ups and downs of her pregnancy, recently detailing the ‘out-of-body experience’ of her first pregnancy on her blog Frenshe.

Hot mama! On Monday she looked stunning as she showed off her nearly-there baby bump

Taking it all off: Also this year she posed nude with her baby bump showing

She wrote: ‘I have to be honest, I haven’t gotten the whole warm and fuzzy feeling about my pregnant body being beautiful.

‘Don’t get me wrong, I am so proud of my body and I’m so grateful to be able to create a home and grow my little one. However, seeing my body look so different is still a little startling to me.’

She continued: ‘It’s like I don’t fully recognize myself and almost like an out-of-body experience. Thoughts like, “Is that really me?” come to mind. I think it comes down to body acceptance vs body love. I think that you can love your body, no matter what shape or form, but it’s the acceptance part that trips me up a little.’

Ashley said that because she ‘popped pretty early,’ people have said ‘very invasive things’ to her, like ‘I think you’re farther along than you think’ or ‘Are you having twins?’

She added: ‘I think change can be hard, but I continue each day saying I love you to my body because it’s doing so much, and it’s creating is a beautiful miracle.

‘I have to let the ego-mind go and appreciate that my body can even do this. It’s letting go of my own needs because the needs of my baby are more important.’

The actress concluded: ‘I don’t know what my body will be like after the baby comes, but I do know I’m going to give it time, let it heal, and take really good care of it.

‘I wanted to share this because I’m sure that like a lot of other people, I felt ashamed that I was uncomfortable at first. Yet, it’s important to honor how you feel and understand that everyone has a different experience with pregnancy.’

She previously detailed the pain of walking on her feet, as she took to her Instagram Story last Friday to discuss her experience with plantar fasciitis.

Ashley posted a snapshot of her white-pedicured feet, writing: ‘The worst part so far during this pregnancy is my plantar fasciitis. It literally hurts to just walk on my feet.

Pain in the feet: She previously detailed the pain of walking on her feet, as she took to her Instagram Story to discuss her experience with plantar fasciitis

‘I’ve never felt pain like this and I’m hoping once the baby is here it lets up. I know there could be worse things but for someone who is constantly on their feet it can be pretty unbearable.’

Plantar fasciitis is a common condition in which a thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes is inflamed.

She later gave a video update for her 13.3million followers: ‘Yea, it’s horrible, it’s very painful. Hurts just to walk… anywhere, every single day. It’s like your arches start to collapse, because of how much weight is on my body.

‘I mean, I think she’s seven pounds right now, and I’ve never carried that around before. And I’m very short, I’m 5’3. So, it’s definitely been painful. I’m really hoping it goes away eventually, or when she’s outside of me. So, if you guys have any suggestions, please DM me. Let me know what to do.’

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star revealed that their nursery is coming together, as she and husband Christopher, 39, prepared for their new addition.

She said: ‘It’s just been getting close, and finally everything has decided to arrive at once for her room, which I was really nervous that it was not gonna arrive at all.

It’s a girl! Ashley announced back in September that she and Christopher are expecting, revealing in October that they’re having a girl

‘So, we’re just in that mode of putting the room together, and it’s looking so good. I cannot wait to share it with you guys on Frenshe. Just getting all of that stuff done, so we don’t have to have anybody in the house after.’

Ashley recently told Us Weekly: ‘It’s physically exhausting. I popped very early on where some of my friends didn’t pop until really later in their pregnancy. So I think they probably have much more time to enjoy it. It’s definitely been a little hard at times and it’s heavy.

‘The physical exhaustion from it is hard. And I think this time right now [with] the pandemic, I don’t feel comfortable going to chiropractors or an acupuncturist where they would normally help you through this moment. But we’re getting through it. We’re almost there.’

The couple confirmed the gender of their first child in a post shared with followers in October.

Captioning photos of herself cutting into a pink filled cake, Ashley wrote: ‘This year has obviously been hard. For so many. Ups and downs, and an emotional roller coaster.

‘I think this day was by far my favorite day EVER! I cried I was so happy.’
