Beyonce and Jay Z live the life on board £1.5million a week yacht in Croatia

Beyonce and Jay Z give us life envy on a daily basis, but never more so than right now as the power couple are on board a yacht in Croatia.

It’s not just any old yacht either – it’s one of the most expensive yachts to charter in the world, costing a cool $2million (£1.5million) a week to hire.

The Carters were joined in Croatia by their twins, Rumi and Sir, three, as well as oldest child Blue Ivy, eight, who wasn’t pictured on the trip.

Bey and her family have been on the luxury yacht Lana near Cavtat in Croatia after spending her 39th birthday on the island Bisaga Mala, which is near to the heart-shaped island Galesnjak.

Jay Z was seen donning a black face mask during the trip, with round sunglasses and a bandana to keep his hair back.

Beyonce looked chic as ever in a blue and white patterned dress, straw sun hat and shades, complete with large hoop earrings.

They family reportedly spent seven days on holiday together and had a personal chef with two Michelin stars for the week.

Although chartering the Lana yacht comes with a massive price tag, Bey and Jay definitely got a lot for their money as the new superyacht comes with eight en-suite rooms as well as a spa and treatment rooms to relax.

There’s also a full-on gym on board as well as a giant outdoor swimming pool on the deck, as well as a cinema room and audio system to keep everyone entertained.

Watersports and toys to use in the sea are also provided for the more adventurous traveller too.

Croatia holds special memories for the couple, as they visited Hvar in 2011 when Beyonce was pregnant with Blue Ivy, and came up with her unique moniker after seeing a tree with blue ivy on it on the island.

Blue Ivy was also granted an honorary citizenship of Hvar in 2012, with mayor Pjerino Bebic saying in a letter to the couple, according to Dalmacija News: ‘The story of the origin of your girl’s name, Blue Ivy, has brought huge media attention and great tourism promotion to the town of Hvar.

‘I have decided to grant your daughter the status of honorary citizen of the town.’
