Calvin Klein is performer’s latest ‘Obsession’

After building buzz over his one-man shows on Anna Wintour, Andy Cohen and Martha Stewart, chameleon performer Ryan Raftery is turning his attention to Calvin Klein.

The performer’s latest “biomusical” is called “The Obsession of Calvin Klein,” and kicks off on Oct. 28 at Joe’s Pub, we hear.

It’s inspired by “Black Swan” and, according to a blurb: “Obsessed with a crushing paranoia that childhood friend and fellow mega-designer Ralph Lauren is intent on sabotage, Calvin Klein and henchwoman Donna Karan scheme to ensure the continued reign over his black-and-white empire of perfection.”

In Raftery’s fictionalized world, “Calvin is so overcome with the idea that Ralph is out to get him in the ’80s, that he wishes there were another American designer on their level to throw him off of his scent.”

Raftery told Page Six, “I worked for Calvin as his assistant in his home eight years ago. I lasted one day. Nine hours to be exact . . . but he was super-nice. I remember meeting him for a second interview and realizing that his name was on my underwear.”
