Cardi B pulls out of Bruno Mars tour
New mum Cardi B has announced she’s pulled out of a planned tour with Bruno Mars later this year.
The US rapper said she had "underestimated this whole mommy thing".
The 25-year-old, who welcomed daughter Kulture earlier this month, was due to join Bruno for 24 dates across North America on the final leg of his 24K Magic tour.
Cardi B, who joined Bruno on hit track Finesse, tweeted: "I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically.
"I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing."
Shortly after, Bruno sent a message of support to Cardi B, saying: "The most important thing is you and your family’s health."
He added: "We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.
"Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on The 24k Magic Tour."
It was first rumoured in February that the star, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, was expecting a baby.
But Cardi finally confirmed the news herself during a performance on US TV show Saturday Night Live in April.
Little Kulture is Cardi’s first child, and the fourth of husband Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus.
Celebrity baby news…
She revealed her child’s name on Instagram with a Beyonce-style pregnancy shoot.
Naked and surrounded by flowers, Cardi covered her breasts with one hand and held onto her bump with the other.
"Kulture Kiari Cephus 07/10/18," she captioned the image.
