Emmerdale star Charley Webb, 32, has spoken out about her experience with CBD oil after going through a stressful time at home. The actress revealed the treatment, which has been studied for its potential role in easing symptoms of common health issues, including anxiety, was recommended to her by a friend.
Charley explained that she felt “overwhelmed” due to the coronavirus lockdown and “juggling” the three young children, Buster, 10, Bowie, four, and Ace, one, she shares with husband Matthew Wolfenden.
The Debbie Dingle star also admitted the pressures of starting a new business with her other half was another factor in her busy schedule.
Charley explained to her 471,000 Instagram followers in a video: “About a week ago, I spoke to you about a CBD oil that I was going to try from CBII.
“My friend recommended them to me, originally I first wanted to try them because my stress levels had gone through the roof.

“I think being at home all the time, juggling three kids, starting my own business, it all just felt a little bit overwhelming.”
The soap favourite went on to say she wasn’t getting a good night’s sleep because of her worries.
She added: “I started sleeping really badly, which is so unlike me.
“I’m quite a good sleeper and I’m one of those people that needs eight to nine hours of sleep a night and if I don’t get it I don’t function very well.”
Charley went on to detail which strength of the oil she prefers to use and issued some advice to her fans who are also “struggling”.
She added: “It’s all natural and it’s just helped me a lot.
“So if you are struggling a little bit then I would suggest getting the starter pack because it’s got both bottles in, the two per cent and the five per cent, and then you can just choose which one is best for you.”
It comes after Charley spoke about life away from Emmerdale on social media, revealing she often found being at home with her three kids “hard”.

The mum-of-three, who took time off work following the birth of her youngest son, has not yet returned to the popular television show.
Charley said: “I’ve always talked about the fact that I found the jump from two to three children huge. Like massive.
“I’ve always been honest about it. I don’t think enough of us are honest when it comes to the way we feel when we have kids.”
She went on to say: “Just being at home, I’ve been off work now for nearly 18 months, and you’d think that being at home would be easier but actually juggling the house, the children, their school, clubs, opening our own business, it’s been hard.”
Charley has recently been adjusting to a much quieter home, as her children returned to school.
Her eldest sons Buster and Bowie are both back in the classroom leaving behind their one-year-old brother.
Charley revealed she had been feeling quite emotional about the transition.
“I can’t even begin to explain how emotional I’ve been feeling, I’m sure loads of people feel like this when their babies are starting their school journey,” she wrote online last week.
