Chris Brown gives fans a closer look at his new face tattoo of an Air Jordan sneaker

He’s no stranger to ink, with tattoos all over his body, neck and face. 

And Chris Brown showed off the latest addition to his expansive collection, in photos shared to his tattoo artist’s Instagram account on Tuesday.

The tat in question was an Air Jordan 3 sneaker, inked on the singer’s right cheek.

The artist was GANGA and he shared images of Look At Me Now artist to his  @gangatattoo Instagram account.

It follows the recent red carpet sighting of the artwork, when Brown arrived at the Grammys last month with the shoe visible on his face.

The rapper previously courted tattoo-related controversy when he in 2012 he got a neck tattoo that appeared to show a bruised and battered Rihanna – whom he was accused of assaulting in 2009.

He and his tattoo artist denied this was the case and it was actually based on a MAC cosmetics advertisement.

Tattooist Peter Koskela took the assumption made by many as a personal insult to his character and explained: ‘I hate when people misinterpret what I do.

‘It was really a blow to me to think that people would think so little of a person that I would actually put a picture of a beaten woman on his neck. That was crazy to me, that he would come to me and say: “Hey, I want Rihanna’s face on me.”

‘I would never promote any kind of domestic violence like that.’
