The singer and Chris split back in April after having to self-isolate in separate households during the COVID-19 crisis. They dated for 16 months.
And although they are no longer together the pair are on good terms, with Chris recently saying that he still supports Jesy even if it isn’t always done in public.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline in September, he said: ‘The beauty of Jesy being in the documentary [Me, My Brother and Our Balls] is that it showcases a conversation that couples have. It’s very relatable.
‘Obviously we supported each other when we were together. I still support her now with things, whether I do that publicly or not, I still do support her anyway.’

End of an era: Jesy announced she had left the band on Monday, saying the ‘constant pressure’ over the last nine years has taken a toll on her mental health (pictured with Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock in 2019)
In his BBC show Chris candidly discussed his sperm count and revealed he and Jesy dreamed of having ‘three or four babies’ together.
Chris also appeared in Jesy’s documentary Odd One Out, which addressed her struggles with online bullying and body image.
The reality star, who is currently appearing in The Real Full Monty, also jumped to Jesy’s defence in May when Katie Hopkins lashed out at her on Twitter.
Katie had shared two bikini pictures of Jesy, writing: ‘These desperate daily pics are showing that contrivance of a documentary to be darn insincere. Girls. Be better than this. Beauty is in strength, not weakness that needs validating daily.’
Shout Out To My Ex! Jesy’s ex Chris was also quick to defend the singer back in May as he hit back at Katie Hopkins and praised the singer’s ‘strength, beauty and heart’
However Chris penned in response: ‘She has strength, she has beauty, and she has a heart that only you could dream of having.’
The duo have now both moved on to new relationships, with Jesy dating Our Girl star Sean Sagar and Chris thought to be seeing model Mary Bedford.
Other stars also offered Jesy their support after she announced she is leaving Little Mix, which also includes Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall.
Among those who reached out were fellow X Factor winners Rak-Su, who appeared on the talent show in 2017.
The band – made up of Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland, Myles Stephenson, and Mustafa Rahimtulla – commented: ‘Look after yourself girl’
Time off: Last month, Little Mix’s representative confirmed the Jesy would be taking an ‘extended break’ due to ‘private medical reasons’

While record producer and musician MNEK left a heart emoji in the comments and Dermot O’Leary, who hosts The X Factor, said: ‘Big love Jesy x’
Model and TOWIE star Lauren Pope also commented, writing: ‘Lots of love, health always comes first’
Jesy confirmed the news in a letter addressed to ‘all my Mixers’, where she admitted she wanted to take time away from the band to explore things that make her happy.
She wrote: ‘The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.
Trio: The band – made up of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall (L-R) – also confirmed that they would be remaining as a trio (pictured in November)
‘There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focussing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process.
‘So after much consideration and with a heavy heart, I’m announcing I’m leaving Little Mix.’
And confirming the news, Little Mix said in a statement: ‘After an amazing 9 years together Jesy has made the decision to leave Little Mix. This is an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy.’
