Chris Young Asks Fans For Thoughts On Unreleased ‘Rescue Me’

Chris Young took to social media last Wednesday (February 10) to ask fans about their views on the demo of his yet-to-be released song, “Rescue Me.”

Young shared a snippet of the song on his Facebook page, writing, “Ok guys… just a demo, but wanna know what you think about adding this one to the album. Thoughts?”

He is seen saying he “could be your Superman … if you’d let me” amidst a mid-tempo beat.

“But tell me, who is gonna rescue me? / ‘Cause it sure feels like I’m kryptonite / How you got me on one knee, with my hand out beggin’ for mercy,” he is then seen singing. “Yeah, what’s a happy ending if I can’t get the girl? / What’s it matter if I save the world if you don’t promise me before you take this ring / And rescue me …”

Young’s last album was Losing Sleep in 2017. Since then he released several songs. “Raised on Country,” “Drowning” and “Famous Friends,” featuring Kane Brown, are from his upcoming project, Raised on Country.

The singer has also teased several tracks via social media.
