It comes after Only Fools and Horses fans slammed an upcoming convention for charging £375 per person to meet ‘Del Boy’ actor David Jason.

The actor, 79, is set to reprise his iconic role as wheeler dealer Del one last time at a three-day event celebrating the series and his career in February – but fans will have to shell out if they want to meet and have a photo with David, and get his autograph.

Organisers The Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society’s website revealed their Gold Package – which includes a photo in the Trotter Flat with Sir David and his autograph on an item of your choice – will set fans back £375.

The slightly cheaper Silver package, coming in at £255 offers the same photo op with Sir David but without the autograph – instead fans would get a ‘free in person autograph from each guest actor’ as one of the perks.

The most thrifty option is the £55 Bronze package which includes entry into the Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire event as well as a photo in the flat but not with David Jason.

Fans took to social media to slam the ‘totally unfair’ high prices and revealed they would be missing out on the ‘cash cow’ event.

One wrote: ‘As much as I love the guy and would love to go £255 to have a pic taken with him? I don’t think so.

Another added: ‘£255 to see another person…no thanks, as much as I respect him I wouldn’t pay that to see another human being…madness.’

A third slammed the event saying: ‘Complete rip off people who organise these events use it as a cash cow as they know people will pay this prices, totally unfair on the poor die hard fans who can’t afford those prices to meet there idol.’ (sic)

One wrote: ‘Well its desperate that u would have to pay £400 to see David Jason. people should be able to pay £55 and meet David Jason not £375 that’s a joke.’

Another irate fan wrote: ‘Was so looking forward to this, but £255 per ticket to meet Sir David is a p**s take! Sorry but I won’t be going now.’

Her London performance, last March at nightclubCafe De Paris, set fans back £110 for standard tickets.
