Simon Gregson has been spotted taking his two pet dogs out for a walk in the countryside with his wife Emma and youngest son Herny.

The 46 year old, who is best known for playing Steve McDonald on the popular ITV soap opera Coronation Street, put on a casual display as he wore a plain white top underneath a warm red coat.

The actor teamed the outfit with a pair of blue jeans and some khaki-coloured wellington boots, avoiding the mud in England's Cheshire.

Not one to shy away from bright colours, he also donned a light blue hat to shield his eyes from the glaring sun and keep his head warm from the crisp air.

And now, Bev’s on-screen son Simon has confessed he’s not convinced Bev is a vegan either.

He joked he “must be a mango” if Beverley has really decided to change her diet and hinted she may have faked her veganism to avoid “putting a willy in her mouth”.

Speaking on Loose Women on Friday 20 November, Simon explained how Beverley’s daughter is a vegan but confessed he’s not wholly convinced of Bev’s recent diet change.
