Dr Hilary Jones ‘humbled’ as he’s awarded MBE in Queen’s Birthday Honours

Dr Hilary Jones has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours, thanks to his incredible career.

The health expert has been working overtime on Good Morning Britain during the coronavirus pandemic, keeping the public informed and helping us all understand exactly what is going on.

And a tweet from GMB confirmed that the 67-year-old’s hard work had been recognised by the Queen herself.

‘We’re delighted to share the news that @DrHilaryJones is being awarded an MBE in The Queen’s Birthday Honours alongside @reallorraine who is being awarded a CBE,’ it read.

Dr Hilary is in good company, as Joe Wicks has also been awarded an MBE, while Mary Berry received a Damehood and Sir David Attenborough was given a Knighthood.

Speaking about the honour, the health expert said: ‘I feel humbled and delighted in equal measure to be afforded this honour.
