Emma Corrin Went Barefoot in a Sheer Gown on the Red Carpet

The only thing cooler than arriving on the red carpet in a show-stopping gown? Departing the red carpet in said gown, barefoot.

The Crown actor Emma Corrin made an appearance at the annual GQ Awards in London on Wednesday night in a sheer black cape gown, pairing it with a black bodysuit. Corrin also carried a black handbag and wore their hair in a slicked-back bob. The real moment of the night, however, was when photographers caught Corrin leaving the awards show barefoot after a night of partying in heels.

Icon behavior? Check.

Thankfully for us, there should be plenty of red carpet moments in Corrin's future, having secured an Emmy nomination for their turn as Princess Diana in season 4 of The Crown.

Earlier this year, the actor opened up about gender identity, updating their pronouns on Instagram to she/they and sharing black-and-white photos posing with their chest bound in boxing hand wrap.

"Some time before I bought my first binder, messing around with @sirdavidsimon, we used boxing wrap, thanks for capturing this with me, very intimate, very new, very cool," Corrin wrote in the caption. "It's all a journey right. Lots of twists and turns and change and that's ok! Embrace it."
