England wrapping Harry Kane in cotton wool ahead of Nations League double-header

Harry Kane is being wrapped up in cotton wool ahead of England’s Nations League double header.

Captain Kane was one of several in the Three Lions’ squad who did not complete a full training session on Tuesday amid fears of burnout and excessive workload.

The Tottenham striker finished the workout at St George’s Park early, along with Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez, Jason Sancho and John Stones.

Boss Gareth Southgate did not start Kane in the last international, a friendly win over Switzerland in Leicester a month ago.
