On Thursday, the trio journey to America to test themselves against Kanzi, a Bonobo ape who is able to communicate with humans.

Kanzi uses a series of pictures and symbols on a Lexigram, and is also thought to be one of the first Apes to show an understanding of spoken English.

Anne, Mark and Shaun also meet a chimpanzee memory genius, a 25-year-old gamer orangutan called Katie and the genius of the ocean, the dolphin.

In between the escapades, fans will have their jaws dropping when they see Mark, who revealed last year that he had shed five stone in lockdown, emerging from the ocean in tiny trunks in a scene many fans will recall.

Work it! Anne meanwhile – who first stripped off on TV in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle in 2019 – was seen getting into a bikini alongside Mark and Shaun to help learn from the tricks of a dolphin

The amazing moment is unmistakably a nod to Daniel Craig’s iconic moment a-s James Bond in 2006’s Casino Royale, when he emerges from the sea.

In the same scene, Shaun, 60, is seen practicing yoga on the beach, during which he was flaunting his amazingly buff body which hit headlines last week.

During a group Zoom call, the trio’s co-star Paul Sinha shared a snap of the group, leading to a wild reaction from admiring fans over his biceps.

The show comes after Mark revealed in August last year that he had lost almost five stones in lockdown.  Mark previously revealed he lost almost five-stone in lockdown thanks to not eating out and running after his three-year-old son.

Appearing on Loose Women in August, the TV personality explained that he ‘never formally gave up any food’ but simply found he shed the pounds because he was having meals at home.

Detailing the dramatic weight loss, he admitted: ‘I think people are going to hate me, I’ve not been trying to lose weight, I’ve had the brush with this virus, and what’s been happening is I’ve not been going out.

‘My wife does shift work so I’ve been the primary carer… as my viewers will know, looking after a toddler, you don’t have time to eat!

‘I was 27 stone when I was diagnosed with diabetes, I was 23 stone at my last check up in March and hopefully I’ll be a bit lighter than that, but the main one is eating a bit more sensibly and I’m doing more exercises these days.’

Of how his eating habits have changed in lockdown, Mark went on to say he has started to eat less because he hasn’t ‘been that hungry’, which made him think that people ‘just get into the habit of eating lots.’
