Farrah Abraham apologized for a verbal gaffe about 9/11 some felt to be disrespectful, but again seemed to use the wrong combo of words in relaying her regret.
The 28-year-old reality star on Wednesday shared a video from New York City as she visited the One World Trade Center with her daughter Sophia, 10.
At one point, the Teen Mom star mixed up the name of the American massacre with the convenience store 7-Eleven, spurring many to criticize her for what they felt to be a flippant tone while talking about the somber topic matter.

‘Okay, so we wanted to do, since it’s gonna be September 11, in honor of the Freedom Towers, and observatory deck and everything, of 7-Eleven, we are going to do this,’ she said in the clip.
On Thursday, she and Sophia were back on the West Coast, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on a day TV stalwart Judith Light was receiving her star, and Farrah spoke with TMZ about the mix-up.
‘That was very much an accident and I think we’re all human – I’m human, what a shock, I’m human!’ said Farrah, who said she was ‘super-tired’ and had ‘no makeup’ on at the time of the interview.
As for the criticism over her gaffe, Farrah said, ‘It actually crushed me that, you know, I think, I don’t even know my name sometimes, I had a blonde moment, I think my heart was in the right space.’

The MTV reality star seemed to nearly slip again in declaring what a good time she and her daughter had at the memorial.
‘Sophia definitely enjoyed 9/11, that was the first time I got to go,’ said Abraham. ‘I’m very sorry about that but we loved that, it meant so much to us. New York City, we loved it, Fashion Week was amazing.’
Abraham, who’s also been seen on Ex on the Beach, Celebrity Big Brother and Couples Therapy, said that the idea behind putting up the video was chronicling her time with her daughter.
‘We definitely show things on our blog … like, this is our daily life and that was part of our life, very much so,’ she added.

In the original clip from New York City, Abraham also offered her opinion on the massive memorial in the wake of the disaster: ‘It’s good to have a memorial for those, it’s great to visit loved ones and have good memories.’
She captioned the video on YouTube, ‘In memory of September 11th , I was in 5th grade when this happened & now Sophia being in 5th grade we enjoy this experience watch now link in bio FarrahTube.’
The Council Bluffs, Iowa native was jabbed in the comment section of the post as some implied she treated the visit as a sightseeing attraction rather than the solemn memorial it’s intended as.

On Wednesday, Farrah left a comment on the post – ostensibly in response to the backlash – of emojis depicting a heart and praying hands.
