Gary Lineker Twitter: Gary Lineker mocks Donald Trump in Twitter post after epic blunder

Match of the Day star Gary Lineker, 59, found the funny side to Donald Trump’s mispronunciation of Sachin Tendulkar’s name and couldn’t resist mocking him on Twitter. The video from his trip to India has been shared numerous times on social media.

During his visit to India, the President attended a rally with the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his speech, he gave a special mention to cricket stars Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, but it appears as though he didn’t practice the pronunciation of the former’s name beforehand.

Trump pronounced the legend’s name as “Soo-chin”.

The humorous moment was mocked by Gary, after radio presenter Greg James shared the video on Twitter.

The latter shared a picture of himself and Trump on Twitter, ahead of airing their interview together in January 2018.

Gary commented: “Congratulations, Tubs. Great scoop. Will it also be the 1st international TV interview from inside the bowels of a US President?”

Piers hit back, writing: “I don’t think you should be mocking anyone about bowels, Jugs.”
