Gemma Atkinson, 36, and Gorka Marquez, 31, got together back in 2017 after finding love on Strictly Come Dancing. While they didn’t dance together on the show, they grew close during the nationwide tour and later confirmed their romance on Valentine’s Day.
Today, the pair discussed Strictly Come Dancing rumours with current contestant John Whaite and Steph McGovern on her show.
Midway through the show, an audience member asked Gorka if Gemma had ever disliked one of his dance partners.
The mother-of-one, sat beside her husband-to-be, said that while it had been reported that she didn’t like them, this wasn’t the case.
She went on to slam a claim that she was the reason behind Gorka and Katie’s exit last weekend.
“I read an article saying I was to blame for Saturday because they lacked chemistry because of me,” she spilled.
But, Gemma said she had never got in the way of his dancing and even encourages him to take his celebrity partners out for lunch.
On his latest dance partner Katie McGlynn, she said: “I said to you, Katie’s from up north, she lives near us, take her for dinner, take her for coffees.
“I know how daunting it is, when I danced with Aljaz (Skorjanec), I met Janette (Manrara, his wife).
“I knew he was a married man and the Rumba especially was difficult because you have the be so sensual.
“Janette took me aside and said, ‘Look, you’re dancing, it’s an acting job for the night, please go for it.

The Spanish-born star first joined the show in 2016.
In the following year, he made it to the final with singer Alexandra Burke.
Despite their best efforts, they missed out on the Glitterball trophy to Joe McFadden and Katya Jones.
