Harry Styles displays his shirtless physique after covering his vast array of tattoos with makeup as he plunges into the freezing sea to film My Policeman in Brrr-ighton

Harry Styles offered a glimpse of his shirtless physique as he battled the freezing temperatures to film his latest scenes for the drama My Policeman in Brighton on Thursday.

The former One Direction star, 27, who plays a closeted gay man married to a woman due to societal expectations in the 1950s, covered up his collection of tattoos with makeup as he plunged into the chilly water for a 15-minute swim.

Despite the chilly climes, Harry appeared to be in high spirits as he was helped in and out of the water by crew members, ready to resume work on the film on the English coast.

A bit cold? Harry Styles offered a glimpse of his shirtless physique as he battled the freezing temperatures to film his latest scenes for the drama My Policeman in Brighton on Thursday

Harry displayed his toned physique by going shirtless as he was taken into the sea by a speed boat to film the scenes, before jumping into the chilly water.

The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker needed the help of crew members to stay afloat in the freezing water, having hidden his collection of body inkings under heavy makeup.

However it seemed Harry’s attempts to complete cover his inkings didn’t wholly work out, as the makeup could be seen running down his front as he walked out of the sea with the help of the crew.

Harry was then seen wrapping up in plenty of coats of towels as he attempted to warm up and dry off following the cold scenes.

Also spotted on the set was Linus Roache, who plays an older incarnation of Harry’s character Tom in the film.

It appears the two stars were recreating the same moment in the water, as the Homeland star was also seen emerging from the water wrapped in a heavy coat.
