TV producer Dan and his hosting wife Holly have recently spent a lot of child-free time together in Italy wherethey filmed Holly’s new showFreeze the Fear withTim Hof.

In the wake of the time they spent together, reportedly sat on the balcony of their hotel drinking Aperol Spritz and eating pizza, it sparked Holly to want to renew her vows and not wait another ten years like her parents.

“Working with Dan and having alone time in Italy made her realise how important it was for them as a couple to spend more quality time together, as well as further strengthening their bond and reminding them of their shared passion for making great TV shows,” Closer’s insider said.

Earlier this year,Holly recalled the moment she realised she had a crush on Dan, whom she was friends with before they dated.

Speaking to the Loose Women panel in January, the mum-of-three said: “We met on Saturday mornings and we became really ridiculously close friends, it was this intensity of friendship for about 10-15 weeks and I remember cheersing him with a glass and I was looking at him and like 'Oh my God, I fancy him, I fancy my friend!'

“It took me so by surprise and I thought, 'Oh God, what's just happened?' And the relationship carried on. And I think in hindsight, I was falling in love with him. I think that's what that intensity was, but I didn't necessarily recognise it.”
