Holly Willoughby supports pal Mike Skinner as she rocks The Streets hoodie
Holly Willoughby has most definitely got us all beat in the lockdown fashion department, rocking a The Streets hoodie as she did the food shop.
We wish we could say we looked that good down the supermarket. Alas.
The This Morning presenter looked chic as always, supporting her pal Mike Skinner, lead vocalist of The Streets, as she rocked the merch.
Holly, 39, was seen loading her shopping into the back of her car from the trolley, donning an all-black look with shades perched on top of her head.
The presenter is close friends with musician Mike, 41, after appearing in one of the band’s music videos way back in 2006.
Holly previously said of her appearance: ‘I love The Streets – Mikey [Skinner] is a genius! I actually appeared in the music video for When You Wasn’t Famous.’
She added to Red Stripe presents: This Feeling TV: ‘The song is about waking up next to somebody, then seeing them on Saturday morning TV looking all squeaky and clean – but we kind of know what they got up to the night before.’
The pair also have kids of similar ages – Holly shares daughter Belle with her husband Dan, who she revealed has ‘a bit of a thing’ for Mike’s son George.
Holly’s also close pals with Mike’s wife Claire Le Marquand, with the pair often sharing cute photos together.
Basically, they’re friendship goals.
Here’s hoping Holly’s been able to have some chill time with her family, as she and co-host Phillip Schofield recently confirmed their summer break from This Morning.
The pair, who have been holding the fort in the ITV studio during the coronavirus coverage, will be missing from our screens for the next two months. Phillip let slip they’ll be disappearing for some R+R on a recent episode, after cheating on a game of Spin To Win to up the winnings for the caller.
Discovering that the caller was only going to get some rock salt and a puzzle in a mystery bag of goodies, Phillip returned to the money wheel and nudged it to assure the woman won £1000.
He then dropped the bomb by declaring: ‘We’re off for the Summer from Friday – so they can’t sack me!’
When approached by Metro.co.uk, This Morning confirmed that Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will be replacing the pair throughout the weeks, with guest hosts taking over the Friday slots.
Here’s hoping they enjoy a well-earned break!
