Can you believe I got three tens last week? I can’t get over that I broke Strictly records! I didn’t expect it at all.
It was Janette’s first ever perfect score and she’s been doing Strictly for eight years! I was so proud to be a part of that success with her.
The pair of us worked so hard that week and it was tough. We really pushed ourselves. To end the week breaking a record was incredible.

Craig has the same face when he’s giving someone a ten as when his giving a four, so he gave nothing away.
After my family did their live with Strictly, they forgot that they were being recorded and their reaction to my dance was so genuine. I can’t get over my dad’s reaction on the show, he was so buzzing. It was so special.
Janette and I have been training today and we’re doing the American Smooth this week.

I’m actually really enjoying learning this routine because it’s half ballroom and half side by side.
I’ve got the confidence now to lift Janette which has been helpful this week. When I started, I couldn’t lift her at all, but now I can chuck her around the training room.
I think I’ve gained more strength from eating too much Nandos and Wagamamas. I’ve also been training all day every day. I’m stronger and my arms are getting bigger!
I showed off my biceps on Strictly last week which was a bit embarrassing! Why did I do that?!
It’s the quarter finals this week, so I’m just hoping I can get through to the semi finals.
We’re dancing to A Chorus Line, it’s quite a classic. I actually did a sing and dance to it back in primary school. It’s one for all the mums and nans out there.
I love watching The Greatest Showman and A Star Is Born. I enjoy musicals and have so much admiration for the talent it takes to have to do musical theatre.
There’s no trickery behind theatre performances, they know how to act, dance and sing. It’s amazing and at one point in my career it’s something I’d love to give a go. It sounds like a challenge, but I think I’d enjoy it.
I’m really excited to go out there with a top hat on this weekend. I think I’m going to be dressed in a gold tail suit! Bold right? It’s very Strictly. Couldn't they just stick me in a black suit?
The good thing about wearing a suit when you’re doing ballroom though is dancing does feel easier. When you’re all dressed up, you feel classier.
It was so sad to say goodbye to Clara and Aljaz last week. She was so much fun and we really connected. Each time a couple leaves now, it’s just getting so quiet backstage.
Aljaz leaving was bittersweet for Janette because we’d done so well. We did celebrate, but she was a great wife also – she made sure Aljaz was ok, but because they can’t go can’t get too close they have to shout at each other. I felt bad because I know how much she wanted to run up to him and hug him.
Was anyone else as shocked as I was to see Jamie in the bottom two? I thought it was one of his best dances! I really want to see him in the final out of everyone else in the competition.
Everyone was so happy when Maisie got called first last week. Her dancing ability is just incredible. She would be an amazing finalist.
I’m really shocked to hear I’m in the bookie’s top three to win the whole show. Wow! It does put a little bit of pressure on me, because people are spending their money on me, but I’m just going to do the best I can and enjoy the show.
I’ve been super busy at the moment because aside from Strictly, I’m building my own house. Luckily my parents are helping because they’re building a house too.
Whenever I’m home from training, I’m looking online at John Lewis for furniture! It’s very exciting and really coming together. I’m hoping to be in by the beginning of next year.
I’m also hoping that my brother will move into my new place with me. We can have a little lad pad.
There’s going to be four bedrooms in my new house. We’re building an office and cinema room. Also a lovely big open plan kitchen and a walk in wardrobe (which I’m most buzzing about).
Although I’m nervous about revisiting ballroom again, it would mean everything to me to get through next weekend. I don’t want to go home just yet, I’d love to get through to the semi finals.
