Jacqueline Jossa, 28, has shared with her fans that she decided to block a trolling website after she realised that her mental health was suffering and scrolling through the comments became like "self harm".
The ex-EastEnders star opened up on her Instagram stories about the vile abuse she, husband Dan Osborne and their two children have been experiencing online.
Explaining her "mental health" had been struggling and she’d been "unwell", Jacqueline told her 3.2million followers she’d finally summoned the courage to block the website so she couldn’t give in and continue to read the awful comments.
Sharing her feelings with fans, Jac began: "For me and for my brain and for my health, I'm just going to block the website on my phone.

"If people send me a link or if I'm googling something and it comes up, I don't have to read it because it's not my business, it's their business."
The actress, who has received a wave of support and "lovely DMs" from her followers, thanked them for their encouragement and insisted she would no longer be reading any of the abuse.
"I need to just not read what strange individuals say about me, and that's fine," Jac continued."I’m not going to do that."
The star went on to share how she’d come to the conclusion to cut herself off – the heartbreaking truth being she has received and read negative comments about herself since the tender age of 17.

"I’ve always had negative comments, and from 17 years old, it just stays with you and sits with you and it is a bit of a form of self harm," Jac said.
"I agree with people on the forum who say, 'If she doesn't want to hear it, she shouldn't be on here reading it', that's true."
The star, who was clearly feeling frustrated by her struggle not to step away from the trolling, declared she’s "got better things to do" with her life.
"I shouldn't be reading it," the mum-of-two said. "It's pathetic – reading what a bunch of other pathetic people have to say about me is pathetic. I won't be reading it again."

The actress continued her statement by saying the negative comments she’s received and read are not helping her mental health and are not "healthy".
"For over ten years I've been reading negative comments and believing them, and I can't keep doing it because it's not healthy," Jac added.
"It's not OK to do that and I don't deserve it."

The former EastEnders actress insisted she doesn’t expect everyone to like her, but she doesn’t agree with people always having hurtful opinions, especially when they don’t know her.
Finishing her stories with a plea urging people not to send direct messages or write nasty comments on celebrities’ pictures they don’t like, Jac told her followers while she would never do the same she’s gradually "coming to terms" with it.
"Not everyone is going to like you, so it is what it is," the star shrugged, before telling trolls to "unfollow her".
