James Argent’s shows off seven stone weight loss as he parties with pals in Malaga

Former TOWIE favourite James ‘Arg’ Argent was pictured partying in Malaga after losing an incredible seven stone.

The reality star, 33, has shed weight following gastric sleeve surgery he underwent back in April this year.

Arg was pictured on Thursday while on a night out in Malaga in Spain where he was partying with his friend and former TOWIE co-star, Elliot Wright at his restaurant Olivia’s La Cala.

James was all smiles for the camera as he was snapped looking trim and relaxed in a short-sleeved grey striped shirt matched with black trousers and finished with black trainers.

Arg underwent his intensive gastric sleeve surgery after ballooning to 27 stone during the national lockdown.

In a post to Instagram back in April, Arg proudly shared: “Today Is the First Day of the Rest of My Life. My weight loss journey has STARTED.

“I’ve had my gastric sleeve surgery with the incredible team at @wearetransform. I’ve struggled with my weight for years but I'm finally ready both physically & mentally to do something about it.

“The next few months are going to be tough but I’m determined to reclaim my life! NEW CHAPTER.”

The TV favourite recently opened up saying he feels “happy” and healthy” following the weight loss.

He discussed his recent weight loss on an episode of Ferne McCann: First Time Mum.

During the show, the reality star spoke to good friend Ferne, 31, via FaceTime before they went swimming together as he sweetly exclaimed that he "feels great".

Speaking during their call, Ferne said: "You look like a 10/10, honey!" with James replying: "I'm feeling good, I think I always lose weight from my face first. My face gets all like slimmer and handsome, it's just the body that needs to go next. You can almost see a jawline!"

Talking after the call, Ferne sweetly commented: "It's so good to see him looking so well, Arg has definitely faced his demons during lockdown as well as his weight. So he made the decision to get a gastric band fitted to shed some of the pounds. It's actually really working and he's doing so well!"

Later in the episode, the two friends decided to go for a swim as James sweetly revealed that he is "obsessed" with swimming during his lifestyle overhaul.

Talking afterwards, James said: "It just works for me at the moment. I feel lighter on my feet, I feel happy, I feel healthier, my life is changing and I feel great!"

Praising her friend, Ferne said: "Can I just say, you are looking good. Tall, dark and handsome."
