‘His gamble has paid off big time’: James Corden ‘has more than doubled his wealth to a whopping £50m’ after moving to Hollywood
James Corden has reportedly more than doubled his wealth to a whopping £50m after moving to Hollywood.
The actor, 42, relocated from the UK to Los Angeles six-years-ago to anchor The Late Late Show, which he started fronting in March 2015.
Since the move, the Gavin & Stacey star has become one of the partners at film production company Fulwell 73 and seen his assets swell.

James was previously estimated as being worth around £22m, however in the latest accounts from his company the business’ assets are declared as £140m.
As one of five partners listed on Companies House where the paperwork is filed, James’ share should be around £28million.
The star also has earnings from his film and TV roles, with him thought to earn $7m for The Late Late Show, as well as millions of dollars tied up in his properties.
A source told The Sun: ‘James took a huge gamble when he moved to LA in 2015 to anchor The Late Late Show. It could have spectacularly backfired, but it has paid off big time.

‘James has invested wisely in Fulwell. It has a lot of overheads and his share isn’t cash in the bank but there is no doubt it has been a good investment.’
MailOnline has contacted James’ representatives for comment.
It comes after it was reported that James could be offered double his £7m salary on The Late Late Show in a bid to stop him quitting the US.
Despite his huge success, the actor has recently hinted he may head back to the UK after complaining he was ‘homesick’.
And in a bid to keep him in the US, channel CBS are said to be preparing to offer him a huge double money deal to stay, with it being said they are ‘pulling out all the stops’.
The Gavin and Stacey star is contracted to remain on his show until 2023 but cast doubt about his future by remarking that his missed his family in Britain ‘very much’.
But it seems bosses are determined to persuade him to stay and have ‘pulled out all the stops’ for the Grammy award winner.
A source told The Mirror: ‘By talking about how he might return home, some see this as James playing the game.
‘The feeling is James is worth double [the £7million] and bosses are reluctantly starting to accept that. The last thing TV brass want is to lose James to a rival.’

Up for discussion: The presenter (pictured with wife Julia) said he and his family may choose to return to the UK when his contract ends in 2023 as it’s a ‘bigger family decision’
MailOnline contacted representatives of James for comment at the time.
James was catapulted to worldwide fame after he made his debut as the presenter of The Late, Late Show in 2015, taking over the role from Craig Ferguson.
With the immense popularity of segments like Carpool Karaoke, James has become one of America’s most beloved late night presenters, but he said last month he and his family may choose to return to the UK when his contract ends in 2023.
James told The Sun that while he has ‘a couple of years to go’ until his contract expires he’ll discuss the prospect of ending his tenure with his loved ones as it’s a ‘bigger family decision’.
He explained: ‘It will be about people at home who we miss very, very much, who we are homesick for.
‘I also feel like my wife and I have three young children, and they are three young grandchildren that we’ve taken away from people.;
James and his wife Julia have been married since 2012, and share three children, son Max, nine, and daughters Carey, six, and Charlotte, three.
The Gavin And Stacey star first cracked America when his stage show One Man Two Guvnors transferred to Broadway in 2012 after a successful stint in the West End.
Thanks to his success on The Late, Late Show, James has landed a number of roles in Hollywood films like Into The Woods and The Prom, and he has also hosted the Tony Awards.
British viewers, however, will know him best from Gavin And Stacey, which he co-wrote and co-starred in with Ruth Jones.
