Jenna Dewan responds to fan who denies her ‘striking resemblance’ to Jessie J
Jenna Dewan has spoken out after a post of her on the red carpet of the Baby2Baby gala has seen her compared in likeness to her ex Channing Tatum’s new girlfriend, Jessie J.
The 37-year-old actress, responded to a fan who denied that she looked like Channing’s new love, after the comparison was pointed out countless times.
Looking resplendent in white, Jenna shared the pic with her 5.3 million Instagram followers and captioned it with, “Last night was a dream! @baby2baby you just amaze me. I am continually so inspired by the beautiful work you do and proud to be one of your angels! Thank you and i support you always.”
This led to a number of comments about her looking very much like pop singer Jessie J, who is now the other half of the Magic Mike Live star.
Of course, Jenna’s fans were not entertaining this idea and stuck up for their idol.
There was one response that particularly caught Jenna’s eye. They had written: "FIRST OF ALL… whenever I hear of the “striking resemblance” w/ Jessie J to Jenna Dewan ..my only thoughts are ummmmm no not even close…. Just trying to spread positive vibes, keep doing you…to an absolute outsider from a small town you are doing it seamlessly"
Jenna liked this Jessie J ‘denial’ and replied to the fan with, "Positive vibes all the way," along with a kissing face emoji.
It has been a troubling few months for Jenna, with her divorce from Channing being filed on October 26.
This followed six months of separation, though they share a five-year-old daughter, Everly.
Jenna has since been seen with award-winning actor Steve Kazee and it is thought their relationship is getting more serious and they are, "having a lot of fun."
Channing, in the meantime, has been gushing in praise about his new 30-year-old girlfriend, after seeing Jessie J in concert at The Royal Albert Hall in London.
