Jennifer Garner ‘wants Ben Affleck divorce settled by end of the year’
Jennifer Garner wants her divorce from Ben Affleck to be finalised by the end of the year, according to reports in the US.
The 13 Going On 30 star is said to have filed legal documents to supercharge the process in a bid to become a single woman by the time 2018 is over.
According to TMZ , Jen is asking the judge overseeing her case to have it pulled out of the court system and handled by a private judge instead.
Ben Affleck’s rehab relapse
The actress originally filed for divorce in April, last year, and the couple have been separated since June 2015.
They share three children.
Ben was recently spotted looking super buff as he emerged from his 30-day rehab treatment looking much happier and healthier.
The Batman star, 46, was pictured heading to a meeting with his muscles bulging beneath a yellow T-shirt.
Ben is also said to be getting much close to his Playboy model girlfriend, Shauna Sexton.
While getting treatment at a Malibu centre, Ben was spotted playing basketball with a coach at his home, where 22-year-old Shauna has been paying him visits.
Shauna was also pictured leaving the treatment centre where Ben has been receiving treatment. The blonde beauty was seen driving his SUV there.
A source told People : "Ben and Shauna met about a month ago. They’re just getting to know each other."
They were first spotted together having a dinner date the week before he went back to rehab.
Her car has also been seen outside his home.
Ben returned to rehab after ex Jennifer, 46, convinced him to get help.
It was reported that Oscar-winning Ben, who has long struggled with alcohol addiction, fell off the wagon a while ago and gradually got worse.
Page Six says Ben had been "struggling" ever since his breakup from longtime girlfriend Lindsay Shookus.
"He’s having a tough time. It’s unclear what his relationship is with Lindsay and he still has his relationship with Jen. It’s not easy and he’s struggled with staying on a straight path before," an insider told the publication.
