Kate Middleton Suits Up in a Sleek Blazer for a Video Chat with a Nursing Student
The Duchess of Cambridge is continuing to embrace her business casual style while working virtually from home.
For her latest video call alongside her husband Prince William, the couple chatted with a number of nursing students currently attending Ulster University. The royal pair spoke with the students about their experiences of studying during a global pandemic and some of their experiences having to step in for frontline workers battling the COVID-19 crisis in Northern Ireland.
The duchess appeared prim and polished, but casual, for the virtual appearance, opting to wear a sleek black blazer paired with a cream-hued knit sweater, gold mini earrings and a dainty necklace. She wore her shining strands blown out and parted to the side. Prince William wore his best business casual ensemble for the call as well, sporting a navy blazer and maroon knit sweater for the day.
Prince William and Kate first spoke to Abigail McGarvey, a first year adult nursing student, who created a TikTok video diary where she demonstrated a typical shift for her while working on the frontlines, which the Cambridges shared on their official Kensington Royal Instagram account. During their conversation, McGarvey spoke about the emotional impact of COVID-19 from both working nurses and patients, stating how patients not being able to be with their loved ones while battling the novel virus. For another conversation, the duke and duchess chatted with second and third year students, who expressed that even amid their tireless work fighting the virus, they’re great for the invaluable experience that Ulster University is providing them amid this challenging time.
