Katie Price says she is registered disabled after her horror holiday fall left her "waddling like a duck" when she walks.

The 42 year old broke both of her feet on a break in Turkey with boyfriend Carl Woods last summer.

Mum-of-five Katie shattered bones after a fall from a 25 foot wall – and there is still no sign of life getting back to normal.

Opening up on her recovery, Katie fears that she won't ever be like before after saying she can only ever walk 20 minutes a day.

She also says she can forget about wearing high heels again.

Speaking to The Sun, Katie says she knows she is "crippled and scarred for life".

The former glamour model has revealed the full extent of the long-term consequences of that life-changing moment in Turkey.

She said: "I will never be the same, I've had to accept that.

"The accident has changed my life and it's only just sunk in if I'm honest.

"I'm lucky to be alive and to be able to walk a short distance, but it gets frustrating. If I want to go on a long family walk, I have to take a wheelchair.

"I've been given two sets of painkillers but I can't take them because I'm scared of becoming addicted, so I'm just in constant pain."

She described her walk as "waddling like a duck" and has left her feeling "paranoid".

However, the set-back isn't stopping Katie thinking big and being positive about the future.

She is plotting to revive her music career after buying her own recording studio.

Hoping to put together some acoustic covers, she also teased that she is launching her own podcast.

The star is already making it and says episode one will be a must-listen.

She will talk more about son Harvey and the family's battle and she is already loving getting her ideas off the ground.

A future episode will feature her mum Amy, who’s currently battling the terminal illness Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
