Kim Kardashian's Bodyguard Got Sued By Her Insurance Company For Her Diamonds Getting Stolen In Paris

Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris two years ago. Well, it’s been a long time and she’s recovered I think pretty nicely. And by that I mean she still lives her vacuous life, and still gets embarrassed by her imbecile husband Kanye West, and she even frees prisoners occasionally when she needs the good press. That’s a bounce back, in my opinion. Oh and she also got paid $6.1 million from her insurance company for the stolen items. Cha-ching!

TMZ has learned that while it’s payday for KimYe, it was the opposite for the people responsible with bodyguarding her. Pascal Duvier and the company he was working for, PROTECTSECURITY, are being sued by the insurance company for exactly $6.1 million; the same amount they had to pay Kim. Maybe instead of making their company name with CAPS LOCK on, they should have hired better security guards? Just cause your words are big don’t mean you can protect people.

The night of the incident, Duvier left the hotel and followed Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to a club, leaving Kim without a bodyguard. Poor bodyguard. He just thought it would be more fun to watch Kourtney and Kendall get bombed off French wine and now he’s getting sued for millions of dollars. AIG Insurance’s lawsuit claims that Duvier allowed for a number of security breaches to go uncorrected. Among the list of things Duvier failed to deal with: there was a missing lock on the front gate and the intercom to the door was not functioning. AIG says that these breaches in security allowed for the masked gunmen to get into the hotel and get up to Kim’s unit to tie her up and rob her.

AIG also pokes at the concierge of the hotel for not having security training, but neither he or the hotel are being sued. This concierge was held at gunpoint and told to bring the gunmen up to Kim’s room which he unlocked.

Honey, if that was me I would have given them Kim’s key, a photocopy of her driver’s license and the login to the hotel’s Netflix account. I’m not getting shot for you.
