Love Actually star Martine McCutcheon poses for rare pic with son Rafferty as they meet santa

Love Actually star Martine McCutcheon has posed for a rare pic with son Rafferty and husband Jack McManus as the trio visited Santa in the lead up to the festive season.

The 46 year old former EastEnders star, best known for playing Tiffany Mitchell in the BBC soap, shared a sweet snap on Instagram as she and her singer-songwriter husband Jack, 38, beamed alongside their eight year old son.

The trio were seen in a picture-perfect Christmas setting as they sat atop hay bales with artwork behind them, comprising of stars, candy canes and icicles.

Martine looked gorgeous as usual in an oversized black jacket and chunky boots, as she rocked a bronzed makeup look and wore her dark hair loose around her face.

Jack wore a cream puffer jacket with black jeans whilst their adorable son Rafferty mimicked his mum's look in all black with a cute bobble hat and Ugg boots to keep out the winter chill.

Alongside the snap, Martine wrote: "When Rafferty Met Santa… Well someone was VERY shocked and happy to meet the big man himself!

"Rafferty thought we were just popping out to get some bits and bobs and it turned out to be a wonderful festive surprise."

"Rafferty had a good old chat to Father Christmas, explaining that the decorators are at our house at the moment painting etc… So a huge mirror is on his bed and so he can’t sleep in his room right now, but NOT to worry, as they will be gone in time for Christmas, so Santa can leave a sack, or a stocking, or something there at the end of his bed (hint, hint ) I wondered where he was leading to! And he also said we will keep the chimney clear and leave mince pies, carrots for the reindeer and milk or whiskey!"

Martine, who played Hugh Grant's love interest Natalie in Love Actually, went on to describe how the wholesome family outing included looking at a "gorgeous manger with a nativity scene," as well as seeing "where all the letters to Father Christmas go".

The proud mum described her joy at watching her son's face "light up," as she said he was "so thankful and it made me melt".

She then made a reference to Love Actually, which came out in 2003 but remains one of the most popular Christmas films of all time, as she quoted Hugh Grant's famous line: "Love actually is all around."

In September, Martine and husband Jack celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a very special occasion – renewing their vows.

The husband and wife duo invited just one guest to their ceremony – their beloved eight-year-old son Rafferty.
