Love Island's Anna Vakili suffers an epic make up mishap

Love Island’s Anna Vakili suffers an epic make up mishap as she hits the red carpet at fashion launch

She turned heads with her stunning good looks during her time on Love Island.

But Anna Vakili had eyes on her for another reason on Monday as she suffered a makeup malfunction at the In The Style press launch.

The social media star, 29, posed up a storm at the launch of The Power Edit at the EL&N cafe in London, not realising her highlighter application was a bit too strong.

Concealer: Anna Vakili was pictured sporting a makeup malfunction as she joined other former Love Islanders at an event for fashion retailer In The Style in London on Monday

As the camera lights flashed in the TV beauty’s face the lighter shade of concealer she wore around her eyes contrasted dramatically with the darker contouring of the rest of her face.

Aside from the malfunction Anna looked glamorous in a partially sheer black top with diagonal stripes, smart black cigarette trousers and an ankle length cosy suede coat.

She accessorised by slinging a Fendi bag across her chest and sported black peep toe heels on her manicured feet.

Fashionable: Anna wore an oversized pair of dark sunglasses to complete the look

The outing comes after she suffered the wrath of cruel trolls after haters branded her a ‘terrorist’.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Anna said: ‘I don’t have a vigorous work out regime at all – I need to be stricter really for health reasons.

‘I didn’t work out at all before going on the show. While I was in Majorca during lockdown was the only time I really thought “maybe I should be a bit healthier.”

‘I would have thought that coming out and having cameras in my face would make me want to work out but it hasn’t. I’ve been the opposite actually!’

She added: ‘I still get trolled but I am getting stronger. I filter out bad comments.

‘If I get a DM I read the first few words and if I can tell it’s going to be negative I just block and delete straight away. That’s my way forward.’
