EXCLUSIVE ‘All I get these days is Botox’: Megan Barton-Hanson reveals she’s given up plastic surgery and hasn’t had lip filler in three years after finally being happy with her looks
Megan Barton-Hanson has given up on plastic surgery, revealing for the first time she’s ‘really happy’ with her looks.
The Love Island star, 26, last had filler in her lips three years ago – before she found fame on the ITV show and said instead of going under the knife, all she has done now is ‘preventative Botox here and there.’
In an exclusive interview, Megan told MailOnline she doesn’t regret any of her surgical procedures, which include breast augmentation, a nose job and having her ears pinned back, as she didn’t get them done as a ‘quick fix.’

Megan, who will be discussing a range of topics on her new podcast You Come First, said: ‘To be honest, all I get these days is Botox – I haven’t had my lips done since a year before the villa.
‘Where I got it all done at a young age, it’s easily maintained, filler lasts longer, I just have preventative Botox here and there but other than that I don’t really get anything else done. I am really happy with the way I look.’
Megan believes former Islanders, who are now reversing the work they’ve had done, made rushed decisions after finding fame on the show – and now regret it.
Influencer Molly-Mae Hague, 21, recently had her lip filler dissolved and said ‘it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.’

Megan, who’s spent a reported £25,000 transforming her looks, added: ‘It is when people rush into getting procedures and then they regret it.
‘Or when people do these procedures and it’s coming from a different place – it’s not what they want to do with their body, it’s coming from a place of insecurity or a quick fix for something.
‘Before I went into the villa, I didn’t get loads done just before as an insecurity thing, I made those decisions for myself and I looked that way maybe a year before when I was modelling.
‘I was lucky enough to have the money to get it done when I was young because that’s the thing as well, people have had normal jobs before and then they go on Love Island and they have all these brand deals and suddenly your pictures are everywhere, it is overwhelming having to see yourself that much so I get it completely.’

The former lap dancer and glamour model has now turned her attention to OnlyFans, a subscription platform that enables users to pay for content.
Megan insists she doesn’t pose naked or topless on the site to earn large sums of money but because she loves the thrill of stripping off for creative shoots.
She said: ‘I’ve loved shooting for OnlyFans. Before Love Island when I used to do glamour modelling it was more like a means to an end, to get my followers up on Instagram or I would get paid from the shoot.
‘I don’t need the money from OnlyFans, I just do it because I love getting glammed up, I am lucky enough to know amazing hair and makeup artists. It is quite self-indulgent.
‘It gives all the power back to the model. I can pose topless if I want, fully nude, just bikini, I can post when I want, there’s no right or wrong way to do it.’

‘I say it how it is’: Megan, who’s launching podcast You Come First following public demand, will delve into a range of topics during the series
She said: ‘I am always inundated with people asking for my advice and questions from a range of different things because I am so honest and open and I say it how it is.
‘For some subjects that I’m not that sure on, I have experts in that field on and for me, it’s been so interesting to learn while researching topics along the way.
‘The whole of the podcast, there are lighthearted subjects like the stripping stories, I am doing another episode on the webcam industry but a lot of them are educational and giving that safe space for people.
‘When I was growing up there wasn’t a lot of platforms out there that I could get information on coming out, gender identification, sexuality or female pleasure – there weren’t those resources out there. It does get quite deep and hopefully people will come for information.’
