Meghan Markle claims passport and keys were taken from her and didn’t see them until she left Royal family

Meghan Markle has claimed she didn't see her passport, keys and driving licence until she left the Royal family because they were taken from her.

The Duchess of Sussex, who announced she and Prince Harry are expecting a baby girl, made the claims during her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey which aired in the US on Sunday night.

The 39 year old explained: "When I joined that family, that was the last time – until we came here -=– that I saw my passport, my driver's licence, my keys.

"All that gets turned over. I didn't see any of that anymore," she revealed.

The former actress also claimed she experienced loneliness and felt isolated during her time as a full-time Royal family member.

She said she wasn't allowed to go for lunch with her friends because of the coverage it would get.

The brunette beauty shared that everyone around her was concerned about how her actions may be perceived but "has anyone talked about how it feels?"

OK! Online have contacted a representative for the Royal family for a comment on Meghan's claims.

Elsewhere in the interview, Meghan and Prince Harry, 36, happily announced the gender of their unborn child.

The couple confirmed their second child will be a girl and she will be born over the summer.

The pair revealed they were expecting their baby with a beautiful black and white photo on Valentine's Day.

In the stunning snap, Meghan is lying down on Harry's leg as she cradles her blossoming baby bump.

Harry is sat on the floor and staring down at his wife, as the pair beam from ear to ear.

A spokesperson for the duo said at the time: "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child."

Meghan and Harry, who shared a glimpse at their Montecito mansion, got married in a public marriage ceremony on 19 May 2018.

The following year, the couple welcomed their first child, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor on 6 May 2019.
