Dynasty star Michael Nader has died at the age of 76. The actor, who also starred in All My Children, died on Monday at home in Northern California, his devastated wife Jodi Lister confirmed in an emotional statement.

Michael died after battling an untreatable form of cancer.

In a statement to Michael Fairman TV, Jodi said: “With heavy heart, I’m sharing the news of the passing of my beloved, Michael.

“We had 18 wonderful years together with the many dogs we fostered and adopted.”

She added: “Recently, Michael was so thrilled to reconnect with his friends from the cast of Dynasty during Emma Samms virtual event to help raise funds for Long-Covid research.

“He was a beautiful and fascinating man with many talents and skills. I will miss him forever.”

Michael acted alongside Joan Collins in Dynasty, where he played the role of Dex.

Before he became known to fans worldwide in the ABC series, Michael rose to fame as a soap opera actor.

He landed his first soap role portraying Kevin Thompson on As the World Turns.

 

The actor then played Alexi Theopolous in Bare Essence.

Michael’s Dynasty character captivated viewers with his memorable love affair with Alexis Carrington (played by Joan Collins).

The character also established romances with many other key female characters before the 1989 series finale.

Michael went on to play Dimitri Marick on the popular American daytime soap, All My Children.
