Myleene Klass says daughters are writing her vows and plan to walk her down aisle to marry Simon Motson

Myleene Klass has revealed her daughters have been helping her with the wedding preparations after she got engaged to fiancé Simon Motson last September.

The 42 year old, who recently became the first celebrity to leave Dancing On Ice after a skate off with Lady Leshurr, opened up about her upcoming nuptials on ITV's Lorraine.

When asked how the planning is going, the star explained that she hasn't actually put too much effort into it as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic means she won't be able to have her dream wedding for months, if not a year.

While she may not be fully invested in preparing for the big day however, her two daughters Ava, 13, and nine year old Hero are going full steam ahead.

"We don't know, we thought we'd be married by now," she said, adding: "So the girls have thrown themselves into dress design for the wedding and they're writing our vows for us."

Myleene, who recently bravely admitted she miscarried while on the radio but went on with the show, continued: "They've become wedding planners, it's their new occupation.

"I'm blissfully happy. I feel very very fortunate with my family life.

"So, it will happen when lockdown is lifted. It wouldn’t feel right to go ahead with the wedding. Well, it wouldn't be possible to go ahead because we wouldn't have our friends and family there."

Myleene, who is also mum to one year old Apollo, added: "They’ve decided they are giving me away! Ava has a ball gown bigger than my gown, it’s on."

Myleene announced she's engaged to her boyfriend of five years, 46 year old Simon, last year – and he popped the question with a 7.63 carat emerald-cut natural black diamond.

The stunning jewel is then surrounded by 114 delicate white diamonds, which brings the rock up to 9 carats in total.

Myleene actually had the diamond designed herself alongside Ira Kormind, the director of 77 Diamonds, who is a close friend of the star.
