Neil Young Debuts New Song At Port Chester Show

Neil Young performed a new love song “Eternity” at Port Chester New York’s Capitol Theater on Wednesday.

“The first time we played this we played it on a train,” he said. “We don’t have a train, but we’re going to try and do it without it.”

He performed “Eternity” for the first time on Sunday evening at the Outlaw Musical Festival in Saratoga Springs, New York.

“Woke up this morning in a house of love,” Young sings. “Oh fortunate me/I hope I’m living in a house of love/For eternity.”

Backed by band Promise of the Real, Young focused on classics for the rest of show, performing “Like an Inca,” “Tell Me Why,” “Heart of Gold,” “Words (Between the Lines of Age),” “Cortez the Killer,” “Cinnamon Girl,” “Roll Another Number (For the Road),” “Winterlong,” “Field of Opportunity,” and “Lotta Love.”
