New Girlfriend? Drake Spotted Enjoying Romantic Stroll With Bikini Model Malaika Terry
The hip-hop superstar and the 22-year-old model were spotted heading to Cafe Nervosa in Toronto along with an entourage of bodyguards.
It looks like Drake is finally off the market. The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker was spotted heading to Cafe Nervosa in Toronto on May 16 with a new possible girlfriend by his side. The woman was later identified as 22-year-old model Malaika Terry.
The rumored lovebirds apparently were not alone as they were joined by an entourage of bodyguards. At some point, they were pictured holding hands while enjoying a romantic stroll in his hometown. For the outing, Drake kept a low profile in baggy black sweat pants and a jacket. He completed his look with a matching Nike bag.
Malaika, meanwhile, put her abs on display as she walked beside the hip-hop superstar. She sported a red crop top and blue denim jeans as she appeared to be wearing minimal makeup. Holding a black bomber jacket and matching bag, she rocked a side-swept hairstyle.
According to MediaTakeOut, the pair have been dating on and off for a while. An insider close to the rapper told the site, “Drake likes a lot of women, but Malaika is special. She met [Drake’s] mom and everything. I can see him settling down with her. And that’s crazy to say cause Drake is a real H*E.”
Reps for the “Nice for What” hitmaker did not immediately respond to request for comment.
The dating rumors arrived after Drake unfollowed Rihanna on Instagram. It’s unclear when he clicked the “unfollow” button, but the move came just a few days after the “Umbrella” hitmaker said in an interview with Vogue writer Chioma Nnadi that she and Drake are no longer friends.
“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either,” she said about the current nature of their friendship. “It is what it is.” The makeup mogul also admitted that she was uncomfortable with her ex-boyfriend’s gushing introduction speech at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, saying, “I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”
