Novak Djokovic’s wife Jelena Djokovic, 34, has taken to Twitter to gush over her other half after he won the ninth Australian Open by beating Daniil Medvedev.
In a sweet message dedicated to the tennis champion, Jelena penned in view of her 135,000 followers: “This man!!!
“So proud of you amore!! @DjokerNole #AusOpen.”
Jelena wrote the post in response to Novak’s post, which showed him punching the air in celebration while clutching onto his trophy.
Fans took to the comments section of her tweet to join Jelena in congratulating the Serbian sportsman on his win.
One person said: “And so am I! Very proud to support you two.”
Another added: “What a well deserved win, such a fighter to win this slam carrying an injury, he is simply the best, wonderful example of a good human being praising his opponent in his champion’s speech, so proud to be a Novak fan for the past 13 years.”
A third fan commented: “Congratulations team NovakDjokovic and family!!! Looking forward for your double digit AO title and 20++ grand slam titles.”
