Olivia Buckland bursts into tears on her honeymoon with Alex Bowen

After jetting off to beautiful Sri Lanka with her gorgeous new husband, Olivia Buckland gushed she was ‘blissfully and peacefully happy.’

The newlyweds have been living the life of luxury in their plush villa, complete with private hot tub, pool and some seriously stunning views.

However, their holiday of a lifetime appeared to take a turn for the worst when Olivia was pictured bawling her eyes out in her latest social media offering.

The Love Island babe struggled to fight back the tears as the pair stopped by at a turtle hatchery and sanctuary.

After revealing she initially had reservations about the centre, Olivia soon became overwhelmed with emotion when she got to hold some of the rescued newborns for herself.

Liv even joked about her ‘ugly cry face’ but told fans the video was ‘too good not so share.’

She wrote in the caption: "So if anyone knows me they’ll know I adore turtles, (they’ll also know I’m an ugly crier especially when I try not to cry)

"So when we visited this turtle hatchery & sanctuary that are helping the conservation of their turtles – you’ll also know that I was completely beside myself," she said.

"It was just amazing to be able to talk to the few people that work there and look after them and donate some money to help them keep going. I wanted to adopt them all," said the star.

After sharing the hilarious video with her followers, Olivia quipped: "I keep watching this video and don’t know whether to laugh or cry."

Earlier in the month, Olivia and Alex became the first Love Island couple to tie the knot in a no expense spared ceremony.

Alex even arrived at the ceremony at Gosfield Hall in Essex in a helicopter.

The pair married in front of 98 day guests and were later joined by 150 more at the reception.

And there were plenty of famous faces in the crowd from Love Island’s Gabby Allen and Kady McDermott to TOWIE’S Pete Wicks.

The pair shared details of their happy day in this week’s OK! magazine , out now.
