Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen, 46, will be returning to screens this week with the new series of Our Yorkshire Farm. The star posted in front of her 263,000 followers on Instagram about how it has been a “busy” period promoting the show.
She shared a picture of her with a young lamb on her Instagram Story today as she provided the update.
Alongside the image, the star wrote: “What a week it has been!”
She then captioned the picture with the word “busy” as well as tagging those who she’d spoken to about the new show this past week.
Amanda has been speaking to plenty of people ahead of the release of Our Yorkshire Farm.
The series begins on Tuesday, April 13 on Channel 5 for viewers to catch up with her and her huge family.
Our Yorkshire Farm is a documentary-style show which focuses on Amanda, her husband Clive Owen and their nine children.
They live on a farm in Yorkshire as the series follows the ups and downs of the farming seasons.
In total, this new season will feature 20 episodes of the popular show.
Speaking on Zoe Ball’s Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Two last week, she admitted she was still shocked by how popular the series is.
She said: “It’s just still such a funny thing to imagine that us just doing our thing and leading a very ordinary life is going out there into people’s homes.
“It feels in a way that it’s happening somewhere else to somebody else.
“I can’t explain it. It feels like it’s two different separate worlds that collide via the TV screen.”

As well as promoting the new episodes, Amanda has also been keeping her fans updated about the goings-on at her North Yorkshire farm.
This has included several insights into lambing season, which is currently in full throes.
Earlier today, the shepherdess gave fans an insight into what this has been like in the recent cold weather.
She shared an image with her daughters feeding two lambs.
Alongside it, she wrote: “A freezing cold start to the day, -7.4 C this morning. Feeding the pets in the sunshine.”
As well as providing updates on the lambing season, she left her followers devastated when she shared some “sad” news.
Writing on April 10, she wrote: “There’s so much sadness today & I don’t like to add to it but sadly I must share the news that sheepdog Kate’s pup was stillborn.
“It just wasn’t to be. She’s fit and well & when went to go gather she wanted to come, so she did.”
Our Yorkshire Farm begins on Tuesday at 9pm on Channel 5.
